And sometimes Columbia is awesome.
Ran 10 miles this morning with the running group. I kept up my 9:30-9:45/mile pace which was awesome. Especially since it was torentially raining, lightning and thundering. Pretty pumped on that.

Cadets from Virginia Tech’s Corps demonstrate their obstacle course for alumni as part of VTCC’s homecoming weekend. I was out there before the seniors arrived and saw some freshmen cadets practicing and trust me when I say it is much harder than it looks. And it looks hard.

Ran 11.7 miles at 9:45/mile pace. Didn’t stop and walk, but did take 4 water stops…one of them invovled stretching. Straight leg dead-lifts 2 days before a 12 mile run will really cramp up your hammies and arse.
