In January I was at a friend’s house to watch the Superbowl. While there, I was talking to some of his other friends. Found out that one was an orthodontist who works in the same practice where I get my invisalign.
Jump to today. Homegirl was my ortho. Nothing says awkward like somebody whom you met at a party with her hands all up in your grill.

Weekend!
Going to spinning tomorrow morning!! And that means I can sleep in! (well, until 8am)
Taking the pup off for a weekend play date.
Headed out to Figure 8 for the weekend.
Where I will run a 10k! (flat! warm! early in the morning!)

Weekend recap.

Friday night I went to see Bridesmaids with Meredith! It was hilarious, especially the part on the plane where Kristen Wiig is all cracked out. SHE DOES MY MOVE!! Which is what I yelled in the theater and Meredith judged me. And then agreed.

Update on previous post.
It is my project. Now I have to go do a site visit tomorrow. Two and a half hours away. No big deal, except that I have an inspection scheduled for the same area on Wednesday.
Ohhh…broken bridges.
PS - This means I will now be at the gym at 6:30am. It also means today is my last day to do office work this week as I am out for the rest of the week.

If you’re traveling on I-85 in South Carolina expect delays this week. Last night an 18-wheeler crashed into the bent at mile marker 92.5 in Gaffney. Northbound traffic is closed and there is a detour around the town.
Two people died in the crash. Both were in the truck. Neither was wearing a seat belt. Wear your freaking seat belt!!!

My co-worker just came to get me and vent. Evidently there is a construction inspection she’s supposed to attend. They scheduled it for tonight at 9pm. Fine. Then they rescheduled again…for FRIDAY NIGHT AT 11:30PM.
Her husband is out of town, she lives like 45 mins away from dt (where the construction is) and has to be at a horse show Saturday at 7:30am. Clearly, I offered to do it...

This morning I woke up and saw what I thought was my earring on my sheets. It was, instead, my teddy bear’s eye.
I’ve had homeboy (name: Teddy. creative.) since I was 7. Which makes him 19 years old. So far he’s had some major back surgery and quite a bit of bean bag sagging. But never loss of a limb/accoutrement. Poor little guy.
