injury update
‘tis an inflamed tendon in my left knee. which basically means that my knee is bat-shit swollen from the innards.
it also means that it’s not busted and i can RUN!!! i’m on mega-anti-inflamatory medication and as long as it doesn’t hurt and i ice it after working out, i’m good to go!
half-marathon, you will be my bitch.

good lord. my team had a training session/pasta party/team bonding night this evening. we went over all 32 events on the 4.2 mile course and strategized how best to complete them. we think there might be one we won’t be able to do. i’m terrified of all of the 10’ plus high walls.

Grad trip 2011
When I graduated from college in 2007, my sister graduated from high school. Natch, we took a family vacay. We spent two and a half weeks in Hawaii. We (by we I mean my mother) invited my best friend, Taylor who had only once in his 23 years of life been out of Eastern Standard Time.

I went to the dentist today and got fillings. I’m usually totally fine, but one of the two was the last tooth and they put the numbing stuff all up in my grill piece. Now I’m sore because of the shot.

Just officially paid/registered for the half marathon in November. I’ve got a trusty training program already on my outlook calendar and I’ve mapped out various running distances both from my house and my gym.

Lost to Boise State and went down to 13th.
Then we lost to fucking JMU. ie: high schoolers. Now we don’t even have votes.
But JMU does.
We haven’t been 0-2 since 1995.
