Rant: work styyyle.
So a couple of months ago I was having trouble getting a guy to respond to my emails/call me back. No biggie, except that the people I usually work with are his bosses. Not like direct ones, but like 3 tiers up. Maybe he doesn’t realize that? Anywho…after a couple of emails to him I finally told his direct boss. And I felt kind of bad about it, but seriously, I need to do my job.

Things I bought today.
I got back from Yemassee, South Carolina today at like 4pm. By the time I would have gone from the Office of Materials and Research (eff yeah, pavements!) to my office, parked and gone up to the 12th floor it would have been time for me to turn around and leave.
I decided, instead, to go purchase a cake on behalf of our office to give as a goodbye gift to a trainee and go to the gym early. So...
