Peer pressure at work.
So I got an email about a sale at DSW today. Natch, I went ahead and decided to take a peek at their clearance selection knowing I could buy $100 worth of shoes for $80.

Acting Career
Dad: I’m thinking of pursuing an acting career. My goal would be to play an autopsy corpse on NCIS. I know I’d have to start out small, like 1st I’d play a head found in a trash bag on a forensic documentary, then maybe a car crash victim in a medical training film, you know, work up to being diced by ducky. It’s good to have goals..so I got that going for me.
Auto reblog of anything referencing autopsies? My mom does them. For the entire state of NC. I do find it kind of creepy, but alas...this reblog is my homage to her.

Run a half-marathon. I came dangerously close this year, but then messed up my knee and had to forego the half for the 8k. (Also, I just did the “archive” thing for the first time, it’s glorious!) (yes, I’m a little slow)

this morning i went to the gym to work out with my personal trainer*. In which the past was the future.
Not really, but kind of.
One of the job offers I had way back in March/April 2007 was to do QA/QC for a HUGE heavy civil contractor. (Read: I got to make sure the rocks that make up concrete were suitable to put in the roads.)
They flew me out to Salt Lake City (and NorCal) for interviews. When I went to SLC I loved it. I’d also been around there for skiing in Park City which was glorious....
