WWII Veterans "Flight of Honor." →
My Great-Uncle John and his brothers were all in WWII. Evidently the Rotary Club near Winston-Salem, NC has a program called the Flight of Honor. For free, they take veterans of the area to DC to go look at the new WWII Memorial, the Naval museum and the other monuments. It’s a one day trip and they take 100 veterans at a time.
